3 Little ArrowsThis is a featured page

You've probably seen that little recycling symbol with the 3 arrows...right? Well, do you know why they're there or what they mean? The 3 arrows stand for the 3 R's: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
Reduce: To reduce, you can buy things with less packaging. You can also take "military showers" which is when you quickly get yourself wet, turn the water off, wash, then turn on the water and rinse quickly.
Reuse: You can easily turn all of those grocery bags into a handy pooper-scooper or a bag for tomorrow's lunch.
Recycle: You can recycle lots of things, this includes paper, plastic, glass, wood, aluminum, some other metals, and Styrofoam (in some places).
So, don't let recycling get all of the credit for that popular sign, DON'T FORGET TO REDUCE AND REUSE!
