"There are many reasons why we are becoming
endangered and extinct. Reasons such as global warming, human greed which you are talking about, ocean pollution, and getting caught in shrimping trawls. There are many human organizations that have formed in hopes to save us wonderful creatures. Humans have opened up facilities to help heal the injured turtles. They nurse them up to good health and then let them free back into the wild. When we think of threatened or endangered turtles, most people think about sea turtles. However, there are other turtle species that are classified as threatened or endangered as well. There are some organizations that are dedicated to other turtles of the world also."
